Rehabilitation Center, Högland Hospital, Eksjö

The Rehabilitation Center at Högland Hospital is the place for you who enjoy making a positive difference for your patients while having fun at work. There is now an opportunity for those interested in physiotherapy within inpatient care to join a team with several colleagues around you and opportunities for close collaboration with our main clinics. Are you the one taking the chance? Welcome with your application!

The Role of Physiotherapist

As a physiotherapist with us, your work will primarily focus on the areas of orthopedics or surgery/ICU.

We welcome candidates with prior experience, but we also see advantages if you are newly graduated.

The tasks mainly consist of working with inpatients, but we also have assignments for outpatient clinics where the role is expanding as close care develops.

We work in interdisciplinary teams both within the rehabilitation center and at the clinic. Your role as a physiotherapist will be important both in direct patient work and as a resource in development work, training, and consultations.

If you are the one applying for this position, you will have the opportunity to request tasks based on the area of orthopedics and surgery/ICU that interests you.

”As a physiotherapist focused on orthopedics, I feel that I make a difference for individual patients early in the care chain and contribute my physiotherapeutic expertise to the team. I enjoy going to work for that reason. Working at a smaller hospital often means quick decision-making through close networks. For me, that is a success factor for providing developing care.” / Karin, physiotherapist at the orthopedic clinic

The position we offer is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement. We offer you a full-time position but are open to discussions about a lower employment rate if that suits you better.

Your Future Workplace

The Rehabilitation Center is a regional joint operation where different competencies and experiences support the development for the patient, the profession, and rehabilitation from a holistic perspective. Regardless of where in the region one lives, patients should have access to equitable rehabilitation of good quality.

Approximately 300 employees work within the rehabilitation center across 11 areas with interdisciplinary compositions based on a person-centered approach.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist who is interested in rehabilitation within orthopedics or surgery/ICU.

There are established tasks, guidelines, and routines in place. There are also great opportunities for development within the field. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is proactive and drives processes forward.

For you to thrive with us, it is important that you find it easy to collaborate with others, appreciate teamwork, and are flexible. You take responsibility for your tasks in a structured and independent manner and have good communication skills in both speech and writing. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Our Offer to You

We offer you the opportunity to be part of further developing a well-functioning, important, and exciting job.
